ANOTHER TURN IN PROFESSIONAL LIFE…
I have stepped into an office in Hyderabad on 6th December 2006 which had all dazzling lights and all blues. On the left side of the glass there a big poster of a person wearing operation theatre clothes.
I was invited inside and was asked to get seated in big black couches where my so called classmate was also waiting on the same day. I made few telephone calls to my friends informing them that so and so person is also joining with me. Frankly we both were not in good speaking terms. We got into the same team filled all the joining formalities. I had to just sit idle for 3 days doing nothing. I used to go grab a news paper and read from starting to end all the words.
Later a tall Doctor who was in another team gave us an introductory session and took us through the product named LORENZO. I did not know what that is all about. Today I train people and talk so much about that product.
I will certainly miss the product and working with so many wonderful teams. LORENZO kept me busy for the past 3 years 7 month duration. Almost LORENZO was my everything. I used to speak many hours on the same get the issues resolved functional help. This Friday all that comes to an end with this product.
I had bad times and good times in this product and company. I can tell today if I stand in this position it is merely my hard work and the interest on LORENZO. I have developed a passion over the period of time. I always wanted to be hooked to this product. Unfortunately one can not hold on to anything as everything is pre-defined. I call it an end in this so called nicest office and the product.
My colleagues back in Leiden and UK you were most adorable and you always made me feel that I am worthy my presence makes things go smooth. Many a times I got many stars from you they mean a lot to me. Spot awards are nothing in front of those words.
I can never forget the time I have spent in Chennai with the Development and quality teams. Today most of them recognize my voice over phone and they recognize me by my name. Thanks to every one who made me feel so nice even when I am leaving.
